COP COVID-19 Guidelines
As of January 14th, 2022, the COVID-19 policy for the College of Pharmacy is as follows:
"The University of Iowa is committed to supporting the health care enterprise and is taking every reasonable step to minimize disruptions to staffing in clinics and patient-care settings caused by the recent increase in COVID cases among UIHC employees. To support UIHC’s clinical mission, the UI health care colleges are applying UIHC guidelines to the faculty, staff and students who work in clinical settings, including requiring masks. Because there are a significant number of healthcare workers (e.g., pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare providers) teaching and learning in our spaces, the College of Pharmacy is implementing a temporary mask mandate for pharmacy buildings (CPB and PHAR) to protect healthcare workers learning and teaching in our spaces."
We encourage all attendees to wear a mask unless eating, drinking, or giving an oral presentation.
